OMG I was trying to type this yesterday but then my isp went down for hours so this is why it took so long to post but anyway yesterday my youngest daughter was in the bathroom when she heard a CLICK and the lights went out(mind you the light switch is on the inside of the bathroom)naturally she got scared and began to fumble around in the dark to turn the light on,she then ran out of the bathroom and gave me a hug and she began to tell me what happened,so then I got my dowsing rods out and they were working real good I MEAN REAL GOOD the tug on the rod frightened me a bit and they kept pointing at my daughter, being almost a preteen I guess they are attracted to her,it creeped me out a little bit I thought id share that with you all! _________________

oh man LMAO, i'm sorry, had to laugh. You are in a bathroom, a place filled with water and taps and plumbing and you have dowsing rods.
Gotta see how funny that is !
Ok, bit more rationalising here. Could it be that your daughter didn't quite flick the switch strongly enough ? that it didn't latch fully and then fell back to the off position ? Is it a switch that could feasibly do that ?
Might be worth experimenting and checking out. If you do find a spot where it falls back again, could be an idea to show your daughter so she doesn't get freaked out if it happens again _________________

lmao yeah i wasnt really thinking about the rods in the bathroom ha ha good one!but yeah i did check out the switch it is a flip one and i tried and tried to renact the switch but its a very tight switch it would either flick up or down i couldnt get it to go in between!so i still dont know why it shut off!see i do try to be rational before i get spooked but sometimes i just cant explain them!so its nice to have another mind to pick for ideas! _________________

Hannibal Lecter said the same thing !
Well, maybe replacing the switch anyway might be a good idea. Bathrooms can be dangerous places and the door gets shut, the light goes on. If there's one room you want light in it's there lol
For the cost of a new switch you might calm your daughter and all have knowledge that it won't happen again _________________
